Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. Users under the age of legal majority must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, and activity performed through your account.

2. The service

Maestro Italiano provides Italian-language lessons, dialect and culture material, pronunciation practice, games, progress tools, AI-assisted learning features, and optional creator tools. Features may change as we improve the service. We may suspend a feature for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, or provider availability.

3. Educational and AI limitations

Language, translation, cultural, and AI-generated material is provided for learning and informational use. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before relying on or publishing it. Maestro Italiano does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans, prices, included features, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Stripe or another disclosed payment provider processes payment information. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew until cancelled. Users can manage or cancel an active subscription through the available billing controls. Refund requests are evaluated under the checkout terms, applicable provider rules, and applicable law.

5. Creator and TikTok features

More detail appears on the TikTok Integration page.

6. User content and permissions

You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant Maestro Italiano a limited permission to store, process, adapt, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the feature you selected. You represent that you have all rights and permissions required for submitted text, audio, images, video, music, names, and other material.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, bypass access or payment controls, obtain unauthorized access, distribute malware, scrape protected content, impersonate another person, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the service to publish unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing material.

8. Maestro Italiano materials

The service, branding, interface, course structure, and original materials are owned by Maestro Italiano or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Access to a plan gives you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use included materials for their intended educational purpose.

9. Third-party services

Features may rely on third parties such as hosting, authentication, payment, AI, analytics, and social platforms. Their services and terms are outside our control. We are not responsible for a third party's independent outage, policy decision, account restriction, or content action.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, security risk, unlawful use, nonpayment, or conduct that threatens users or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy, a particular learning outcome, publication approval, audience growth, or financial results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maestro Italiano is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Questions can be submitted through the Maestro Italiano Support page.
